Interested in the next, more advanced, User Research Friday? We’re shooting for Fall ‘08!
Date: Friday, Oct 27th, 2006 - COME EARLY FOR A CHAIR. Only 80.
Time: 1:30pm - 5:30 PM. Cocktail Hour open to everyone: 5:30pm - 7:30 PM

Imagine fifty eighty 144 people in a room
listening to the latest innovations in user research methods and tools.
Now imagine servers carrying trays of complimentary cocktails and hors
d’oevres around to both speakers and listeners during each session.
That’s the basic idea behind user research Friday. It’s a half-day
informal gathering for talks about emergent user research methods
hosted by Bolt | Peters, Uzanto, and KDA Research. Join us for an
exploration of what’s new in user research methods, from international
research, to eye tracking, to remote research, to researching concepts
with comics.
There will be eight 20-minute presentations, free flowing
discussion and possibly a panel, all accompanied by food and drinks. A
separate demo lounge will be available for everyone to check out the
newest research tools. This is an informal setup and we should have
chairs for everyone, but some folks might have to stand if it gets
extra-packed. There is also construction in our building right now, so
we might have to put up with some intermittent hammering and banging
sounds but it shouldn’t be too bad.
